Universal Studios opens Frog Choir auditions for Beijing and Osaka
Universal Studios has opened auditions for choir member candidates to perform in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ at Universal Studios Beijing and Universal Studios Japan.
The roles are for the Frog Choir, with positions listed for Frog Choir Master, soprano, alto, tenor/pop-style singer/vocal percussionist and vocal percussionist/bass. Applicants will need choir or choral singing experience and must be able to realistically portray a high school student.
The opportunities are fixed-term, full-time performance roles, with contracts running for 10–13 months including rehearsal time. Roles are available in both **Beijing, China and Osaka, Japan**.
Monthly performance fees range from US$2,283 to US$3,180 depending on category, net after tax.
Additional benefits include a per diem allowance, round-trip economy air travel from the performer’s home city, a fully furnished apartment in cast housing with a private bathroom, transport options to and from work, gym access, medical insurance and bonus incentives.
Applicants are asked to complete online registration with a headshot, full-length photograph and résumé. After registering, candidates will be sent audition material and instructions to learn, film and upload their audition.
Registrations close on 4 July 2026, although Universal Studios notes that registration may close earlier if the applicant quota is reached. Final callback auditions are scheduled for July–September 2026, with successful applicants notified between September and December 2026.
Contracts run from early 2027.
