Singapore festival joins World Symposium 2026 as satellite event
The Singapore International Choral Festival has announced a new partnership with the International Federation for Choral Music, becoming a satellite event of the World Symposium on Choral Music 2026 in Macau.
As part of the collaboration, SICF will host a dedicated Symposium Day, SICF Choral Connect, on 19 July, bringing workshops, fireside chats and international exchange opportunities to Singapore ahead of the World Symposium, which takes place from 23 to 28 August.
Festival organisers said the new partnership would give participating choirs and conductors a stronger link to the global choral community. Conductors of choirs taking part in SICF will receive complimentary access to the full SICF Choral Connect day, while participating choristers will be offered special rates for selected events.
The festival has also confirmed that individual participants and observers will be able to join the Symposium Day. Registration for the Singapore International Choral Festival closes on 30 April 2026, with further pricing details to be announced.
