The programme will combine ensemble coaching with performances, special events and sessions led by guest specialists, following the format developed through The King’s Singers’ international Summer Schools.

Individual participants will be placed into newly formed groups, while existing ensembles will be able to attend together and work intensively on areas including blend, communication, repertoire and performance.

Full dates, venue details, tutors and booking information have yet to be announced, but the return of the UK Summer School marks the revival of a programme last held in Britain in 2019.

The King’s Singers’ Summer Schools form part of the ensemble’s wider education activity and give singers the opportunity to work at close quarters with members of the group and other expert musicians. Founded in 1968, The King’s Singers have built an international reputation for vocal ensemble performance across repertoire ranging from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary commissions and popular arrangements.

Further information about the Norfolk Summer School is expected to be released over the coming months, with prospective participants invited to join The King’s Singers’ mailing list for updates.
