The Yehudi Menuhin Summer School (course 2)

Led by the music staff of YMS, the courses will feature:
- Instrumental lessons
- Concerts (both for participants and given by YMS staff)
- Chamber music
- Orchestra
- Choir
- Academic music seminars
- Workshops on wellbeing and exam preparation
- Introduction to conducting

Participants will have the opportunity to learn and perform alongside a talented group of like-minded young people and enjoy a taste of what life is like as a pupil at the school. Students will leave the programme not only as better musicians but also with newfound confidence, collaboration skills, and lifelong memories.
Exciting new opportunities this year include a guest masterclass with internationally renowned violinist and Yehudi Menuhin School alumna, Tasmin Little CBE (taking place in course 2), alongside a new optional conducting course led by Matthew Taylor.
The courses will be held exclusively onsite at the school’s campus in leafy Surrey, with its purpose-built 300-seat concert hall and state-of-the-art teaching studios, along with plentiful leisure facilities including a tennis court and indoor swimming pool.
