ISPA selects ten projects for Pitch New Works at 2026 Singapore Congress
Ten projects from Singapore and across the world have been chosen for presentation at the International Society for the Performing Arts’ 2026 Singapore Congress, where creators will pitch new work to an international delegation of arts leaders.
Chosen from 77 applications, the projects span a wide range of genres and disciplines, with contributors from Singapore, Canada, Taiwan, Greece, New Zealand, Australia, China and the United Kingdom. Singapore Repertory Theatre Artistic Director Gaurav Kripalani will host the Pitch New Works presentation.
Pitch New Works is designed to help creators and arts professionals share developing projects with presenters, producers and other sector leaders. ISPA says the programme has a strong track record of helping participants secure project support, representation, touring opportunities, premiere venues and other professional connections.
Selected projects are: Blur; A Drop in the Ocean; dogma; HEY! YOU; HOME LAND and SEA; One Day We’ll Understand; Paiwan Zoo; POV; Senebesh & The Dolphins; Strangely Familiar《熟悉的陌生》; and The Bridge.
Congress delegates will be able to hear the presentations during the Pitch New Works session on Thursday 21 May 2026, followed by an opportunity to meet the presenters at ISPA’s ProEx (Professional Exchange).
Hosted by Singapore National Arts Council, ISPA’s 2026 Singapore Congress takes place in Singapore from 19 to 22 May 2026. The Pitch New Works session will be held at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre.
